The WHO Marketing Strategy

Let me rewind for a sec. 

For those of you who don't know my background, I am a physical therapist by formal education. It was in PT school where I originally started learning about sales and marketing. 

I never understood why we learned all of these things like hands on skills, how to diagnose, how to treat patients, but they never taught us how to actually acquire a patient to come into the clinic! 

I started to see how the real world was while I was in my 2nd year of PT school. How PT clinics were primarily relying on referrals from other healthcare providers to keep their clinics standing...

I knew this problem could be solved with good marketing.

But PT school never taught us that.

It was during that first clinical rotation where I got my “aha” moment. They were only bringing in patients from other providers. I realized that the way they aren’t marketing, is the reason they’re stuck through the ways other people are telling them to treat.
